Dorothy´s grave

Thanks to James Sprague in Exeter we can see the gravestone in Higher Cemetery in Exeter.We like to thank him for the photographs !
The close-up shows that the stone is both a memorial to Frances Maude and a gravestone for Dorothy Vlieland

Iris Sutton, the archivist of St David's, is going to explore the Roll of honour on which Dorothy´s name appears in the New Year.
Family rumours are that she did something heroic during the war.
