I John Gladstone of Liverpool Merchant
do hereby certify that I have known Nicholas Jerome Paris who
is a native of France but now residing in Liverpool for the
last nine yeats that he is a person of good conduct and has
always conducted himself towards his majestys Government
and all his majestys liege subject in a friendly and peaceable
