Mug of Edward Amond

We had an email from Pam who would like to know more about her Amond family and came across Edward Amond Johnson and wondered if he had anything to do with her .

She found out that Mary Amond who married John Johnson was the daughter of Edmond Amond her  ancestor and it seems she kept the Amond name thus began the Amond Johnson line.

Looking again for more information .i found this in The Victoria and Albert museum.

Mug of soft-paste porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. Bell-shaped with loop handle. Painted on the front with a sun-face in a panel with the inscription below: 'Ed d Amond Wymondham'; on either side, a spray of flowers; inside and at top a narrow scrolled border. Dated under the base '1768'.
