Claude Pearman Stevens was the grandson of Thomas Pearman Stevens and Ellen Pidsley.
Claude was born on the 1st of June 1921in foremost Alberta Canada.

Claude Pearman Stevens was born 1 Jun 1921 in Foremost, Alberta, Canada to Alan & Vyne Stevens.
completed his schooling in Foremost and took an Aeronautics Course in Vancouver, British, Columbia. Claude went to Winnipeg, Manitoba to work repairing aircraft used for pilot training in WW II.
He returned to the farm the following year where he resided until his death. Claude died 7 Nov 2005 in Lethbridge, Alberta.
He married Thelma Gertrude Kingsbury on 21 Jun 1943.

Claude was a respected farmer and took an active role as a delegate for the United Farmers of Alberta for many years.
He was a Member of the Natural Gas Co-op and
life member of the Elks Club and supported many activities in the Foremost area. Claude was known for his written reflection of the past, published in a variety of magazines and newspapers. In later years Claude developed a passion for restoring antique furniture.
Besides his love wife, Thelma, Claude is survived by his daughters Evelyn (Bob) Sera of Lethbridge, Alberta, and Marlene Stevens of Calgary; son Donald Stevens of Calgary; grandchildren Tony (Mel) Sera, Steve Sera, Stacey (Nathan) Bauman, Greg (Tara) Stevens, Aaron Meroniuk, Jamie (Nicole) Meroniuk; three great grandchildren; and nieces, Mary Atkinson, Phyllis (Conway) Cameron, Eleanor Lester, and Melody (Roger) Moase.
Claude was predeceased by his parents, sisters, Ruby Gordon and Myrle Wilson.
He was laid to rest in the Foremost Cemetery in Foremost, Alberta.
