Richard Hayward Pidsley, of Moor Farm, Sowton, Devon, farmer and auctioneer.On Saturday a much respected auctioneer at Exeter, named Richard Hayward Pidsley, was engaged in cleaning his gun, a double-barrelled breechloader, when by some means it went off


Emmeline Haydon was born in 1847.
She married Richard Hayward Pidsley in March 1874 and their son Richard Hayward Pidsley was born in June 1874.
After the death of her husband in March 1877  she had a lodging house .

2nd Lieutenant Hayward Gould Pidsley of "A" Coy, the 2nd Battalion, the Rifle Brigade. Son of Hayward Gould and Kate Pidsley (née Cockeram) and member of a well-known Exeter family of brewers. Born in Exeter in the September Quarter of 1896. Died 21 May 1915 aged 20. Commemorated on the Harbertonford War Memorial.
