In this prison there was a special `hostage`chamber.
The prisoners in this room were well to do and had to pay for staying there.Almost a guilder each day.

They had their own beds and even their servant was allowed to  serve them.
Not all  prisoners were so lucky .
Some were branded.To mark them forever.

The stork is symbol of the Hague.
On the fishmarket they had storks to clean the market .
