17 Nov 164 - Initiation - Cecil Lodge (449) Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England - surgeon - appears on the same page as his father Richard Rickman Shillitoe (initiated 1842) in Cecil Lodge Freemasonry records.
Also becoming a Lodge member is Richards', half brother Francis (initiated 1872 - a solicitor and Hertfordshire Coroner) and Francis' son, Francis Rickman Shillitoe, in due course (though the latter, also a solicitor joins the Hertfordshire Masters Lodge, St Albans in 1920 four years before he succeeds his father as Coroner).
