First noted by Cory in 1864. Listed in MN1867 as Mason & Co. KN1865 refers to a further studio at 28 Old Bond Street, London, and Pritchard shows Mason at this address from 1865 to1874. Cory mentions an additional branch in Cheltenham. This must be the Mason & Co studio at 9a Promenade Villas, Cheltenham, as listed in 1865 and recorded by Hallett.
In 1865 he published ‘Norfolk Photographically Illustrated', a collection of topographical and, especially, architectural studies.
