Death of a Cardiff Lady. Intelligence was received in Cardiff on Satur- day by mail from Sydney, Australia, announcing the lamented death of Mrs. Monfries. wife of Mr. William Jeffrey Monfries, formerly of Windsor-place, Cardiff, son of Mr. Monfries, of Pwllypant. The deceased lady, it appears. contracted typhoid fever while nursing one of her children, who was suffering from the malady, and died after a. few days' illness. At the Bute Docks the greatest sympathy was expressed for Mr. Monfries, who is well known at Cardiff, ItnJ who has been left a widower with three young children.
