Lieutenant Wilfrid Henry Westcott Haslam (Royal West Kent Regiment) is killed in action in Mesopotamia at age 29. He is the son of the late Reverend F Haslam, Vicar of Hernhill, Faversham and a Rosslyn Park Rugby footballer.
